Keto Shrimp, Sausage & Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 12 oz smoked sausage or andouille, sliced (check for low-carb)

  • 3 cups broccoli florets

  • 3 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp Cajun seasoning (or Italian seasoning)

  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

  • Juice of ½ lemon

Optional

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan

  • 2 tbsp heavy cream or cream cheese (for creamy version)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.

  2. Season shrimp:
    Toss shrimp with 1 tbsp oil, paprika, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

  3. Prepare sausage & broccoli:
    Toss sausage and broccoli with remaining oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.

  4. Roast:
    Spread sausage and broccoli on pan. Roast 12–15 minutes.

  5. Add shrimp:
    Push veggies aside, add shrimp. Roast 6–8 minutes more until shrimp is pink.

  6. Finish:
    Drizzle lemon juice over everything. Add Parmesan if desired.


Skillet Method (15 Minutes)

  • Brown sausage in skillet → remove

  • Sauté broccoli until tender-crisp

  • Add shrimp + seasonings → cook 3–4 min per side

  • Return sausage, squeeze lemon, serve
