🧄🧀 Cheesy & Crispy Garlic Zucchini Steaks (Keto)

Ingredients (2–3 servings)

  • 2 large zucchini

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella (or cheddar)

  • 2 tbsp almond flour (for extra crispiness – optional)

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions – Oven Method

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.

  2. Slice zucchini lengthwise into thick “steaks” (½–¾ inch thick).

  3. Pat zucchini dry with paper towels.

  4. Mix olive oil, garlic, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  5. Brush both sides of zucchini with garlic oil.

  6. Sprinkle Parmesan, mozzarella, almond flour (if using), and Italian seasoning on top.

  7. Bake for 18–22 minutes until tender.

  8. Broil 2–3 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.


Air Fryer Method

  • Air fry at 390°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes

  • Flip halfway, then add cheese and cook until crispy and browned


Tips for Extra Crispiness

  • Use large, firm zucchini
