Crockpot Green Beans, Potatoes & Smoked Sausage

This is the classic Crockpot Green Beans, Potatoes & Smoked Sausage (often called “Ranch Sausage & Potatoes”).


🥔🌭 Crockpot Green Beans, Potatoes & Smoked Sausage

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • 1 (24 oz) bag Lil’ Smokies or sliced smoked sausage

  • 1½ lbs baby potatoes, diced

  • 1 (12–16 oz) bag cut green beans (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning mix

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 4 tbsp butter, sliced into pats

(Optional: ½ tsp garlic powder or onion powder for extra flavor)


Instructions

  1. Spray the crockpot lightly with oil.

  2. Add green beans, diced potatoes, and sausage.

  3. Sprinkle ranch seasoning and black pepper over everything.

  4. Place butter slices on top.

  5. Cover and cook:

    • Low: 6–7 hours

    • High: 3–4 hours

  6. Stir once halfway through if possible.

  7. Potatoes should be fork-tender when done.


Tips

  • No liquid needed — butter and veggies create moisture.

  • If using fresh green beans, add 2–3 tbsp water.

  • You can substitute kielbasa or turkey sausage.
