High-Protein Big Mac Wraps

Big Mac craving, but make it high-protein and guilt-free
High-Protein Big Mac Wraps
Ingredients
1 lb (500g) ground beef (preferably 85% lean)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 slices cheddar cheese
4 low-carb or regular large flour tortillas
1 cup shredded lettuce
2 tablespoons pickled jalapeños or pickles
¼ cup Big Mac-style sauce (recipe below)
For the Big Mac Sauce:
¼ cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons mustard
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon finely chopped pickles
1 tablespoon vinegar
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Cook the Beef:
In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft and golden (about 2-3 minutes).
Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked (5-7 minutes).
Drain excess fat if necessary and set aside.
2. Make the Big Mac Sauce:
Mix all sauce ingredients in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
3. Assemble the Wraps:
Lay each tortilla flat and warm it in a pan or microwave for a few seconds.
Place 1/4th of the beef mixture in the center of each tortilla.
Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the beef, then drizzle the Big Mac sauce over it.
Top with shredded lettuce, pickled jalapeños or pickles, and extra onions if desired.
Fold the tortilla sides over and roll tightly to form a wrap.
4. Serve:
Serve immediately with extra Big Mac sauce for dipping or enjoy as a meal prep option.
