🥪 High-Protein French Dip Biscuits

Fluffy protein biscuits stuffed with tender roast beef, melty cheese, and served with rich au jus for dipping — comfort food with a protein boost.


🛒 Ingredients (Makes 6 stuffed biscuits)

🔹 High-Protein Biscuits

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup unflavored whey protein powder

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ cup nonfat Greek yogurt

  • ¼ cup low-fat milk

  • 2 tbsp melted light butter

🔹 Filling

  • 12 oz lean deli roast beef (or leftover roast)

  • 6 slices provolone or mozzarella (low-fat works great)

🔹 Au Jus (Dipping Sauce)

  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Black pepper to taste


🔥 Instructions

  1. Make the biscuit dough:
    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    Mix flour, protein powder, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder.
    Stir in Greek yogurt, milk, and butter until a soft dough forms.

  2. Shape & fill:
    Divide into 6 pieces. Flatten each into a circle.
    Add roast beef and a slice of cheese.
    Fold dough over and seal edges.

  3. Bake:
    Place seam-side down on a lined baking sheet.
    Bake 15–18 minutes until golden.

  4. Make au jus:
    Simmer broth with Worcestershire, onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper for 5 minutes.

  5. Serve warm with au jus for dipping.
