Ingredients

For the Salad

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 works best)

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ¼ cup diced pickles (dill)

  • ¼ cup diced red onion

  • ¼ cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional, low-carb but adds a few carbs)

  • Sesame seeds (optional, for that Big Mac feel)

For the Keto “Special Sauce”

  • ½ cup mayonnaise (sugar-free)

  • 2 tbsp sugar-free ketchup

  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

  • 1 tbsp pickle relish (or finely chopped pickles)

  • 1 tsp white vinegar

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef
    In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Drain excess grease and set aside.

  2. Make the Sauce
    In a bowl, whisk together all special sauce ingredients until smooth. Adjust seasoning if needed.

  3. Assemble the Salad
    In a large bowl, add lettuce, cooked beef, cheese, pickles, onion, and tomatoes (if using).

  4. Dress & Serve
    Drizzle with keto special sauce and toss gently. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
