Ingredients (Makes 2 chaffle buns / 1 large burger)

Chaffle Buns

  • 1 large egg

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 tbsp almond flour (optional, for sturdier buns)

  • ¼ tsp baking powder (optional)

Burger Patty

  • 6–8 oz ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Toppings (Choose Keto-Friendly)

  • Cheese slice (cheddar, Swiss, or American)

  • Lettuce

  • Tomato slice (optional, in moderation)

  • Pickles

  • Red onion (optional)

Sauce (Optional “Special Sauce”)

  • 2 tbsp mayo

  • 1 tbsp sugar-free ketchup

  • 1 tsp mustard

  • ½ tsp pickle relish (sugar-free)


Instructions

  1. Make the Chaffles

    • Preheat waffle maker and lightly grease.

    • Whisk egg, mozzarella, almond flour, and baking powder.

    • Pour half the mixture into waffle maker.

    • Cook 3–4 minutes until golden and crispy.

    • Repeat to make second chaffle.

  2. Cook the Burger

    • Form beef into a patty.

    • Season with salt and pepper.
