🧾 Ingredients

Filling:

  • 1 lb lean shaved steak (or thin-sliced sirloin)

  • ½ small onion, thin sliced

  • ½ green bell pepper, thin sliced

  • ½ cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Cheese:

  • 6 slices reduced-fat provolone

  • ½ cup part-skim mozzarella (extra protein boost)

Low-Carb “Wrapper” Options:

  • 8 egg-life wraps (egg white wraps)

  • OR large slices of mozzarella (for cheese-shell method)

  • OR low-carb tortillas (4–6g net carbs each)


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Filling

Heat skillet over medium-high.
Cook steak 2–3 minutes until just browned.
Add onions, peppers, mushrooms. Cook until softened.
Stir in Worcestershire and seasonings.
Remove from heat (avoid excess liquid).


2️⃣ Assemble

Lay wrap flat.
Place ½ slice provolone + small handful mozzarella.
Add 2–3 tbsp steak mixture.
Fold sides in, then roll tightly like a burrito.


3️⃣ Cook

Air Fryer (Best Texture):
Brush lightly with oil spray.
Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway.

Oven:
Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes until crispy.

Cheese Shell Method:
Bake provolone slices on parchment at 375°F for 5–7 minutes until bubbly.
Cool slightly, fill, and roll while pliable.


🧀 High-Protein Dipping Sauce (Optional)

  • ½ cup nonfat Greek yogurt

  • 1 tbsp light mayo

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Splash Worcestershire

Mix and serve.
