High-Protein “Secret” Big Mac Sauce

Here’s a high-protein version of Secret Big Mac Sauce — same creamy, tangy, slightly sweet flavor… but macro-friendly 💪🍔

Inspired by the iconic sauce from McDonald’s — just boosted with protein and lighter ingredients.


🍔 High-Protein “Secret” Big Mac Sauce

🛒 Ingredients (Makes ~1 cup)

  • ¾ cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt

  • 2 tbsp light mayonnaise

  • 2 tbsp sugar-free ketchup

  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

  • 1 tbsp finely minced dill pickles

  • 1 tsp pickle juice

  • ½ tsp white vinegar

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • 1–2 tsp granular sweetener (optional, to taste)

  • Pinch of salt


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl.

  2. Whisk until completely smooth.

  3. Cover and refrigerate at least 30–60 minutes (flavor gets better as it sits).

  • Calories: ~40

  • Protein: 4–5g

  • Carbs: 2–3g

  • Fat: 2g

(Traditional Big Mac sauce is mostly mayo and much higher in fat.)


💡 Make It Even Higher Protein

  • Replace mayo completely with more Greek yogurt (thicker, tangier).

  • Add 1–2 tbsp blended cottage cheese for extra creaminess + protein.

  • Stir in a tiny pinch of turmeric for that classic golden color.
